• ACTJPA Executive Meeting to be held on Tuesday, 27 May 2008 at 6:30pm. The meeting will be held at the Association's office in the Theo Notaras Multicultural Centre Centre (180 London Circuit, next to the Canberra Museum and Gallery). Members may access further information (including the agenda papers two days prior to the meeting from the Members Area. Contact the Secretary for further information.

  The preliminary dates for the 2008 Professional Development Seminar Series have been established and will be confirmed in the coming week. Mark them down in your diary and join us throughout 2008 as we explore matters of professional interest to ACT Justices of the Peace.

  • Professional Development resources including fact sheets, links to legislation and forms, handouts from Members' Seminars and articles on specific areas of professional practice;
  • Professionalism and Conduct materials including articles on specific means of addressing these key issues;
  • Access to back issues of Justice Matters and the ACTJPA Newsletter;
  • Records of the proceedings of ACTJPA AGMs; and
  • Order forms for ACTJPA Merchandise
    
• The Links page has been updated with links to an increasing number of JP Associations in other jurisdictions including Malaysia, New Zealand and Scotland.
